School House System
The School House System at DPS Rourkela promotes healthy competition and nurtures a sense of unity among students. From Class I onwards, students are assigned to one of the six houses—Chenab, Ganges, Jhelum, Kaveri, Narmada and Yamuna —fostering teamwork, leadership, and collaborative learning in all school activities.
The House System promotes all-round development through inter-house competitions in sports, debates, quizzes, art, music, and dance. Merit points earned throughout the year motivate students to strive for excellence in both curricular and co-curricular pursuits.
